Well that was a very nice surprise. I was just checking something on my Betdaq account and realised I had made another £100 from a trade I didn't even realise I had done. In my last post I mentioned the Charlton v Wycombe Carling Cup tie and the fact that it was not to be televised. What I had done here, after the Liverpool v Arsenal match was called off, I looked to see if there was another match being covered by Betdaq. I saw the Charlton match, went to the under/over 2.5 goals screen, placed a back trade on the unders and about two minutes later the screen disappeared. It was at this point that I realised the match was not to be turned in running, and, of course, I hadn't read the market info panel. So I assumed that I hadn't been matched on my trade. But I had, so the profit for today now stands at £241.
Hi Ray,
I’ve been following your blog for a while now and find it a very interesting and inspiring read. As a result I have been looking into, and trading on, some Betdaq markets and I was surprised that the markets for the Charlton game disappeared at kick-off. I had read that it wouldn’t be in play but, like you, after kick off I wasn’t sure what had, and hadn’t, been matched. Why can’t they leave the market up – suspended of course – so we can see our positions?
Anyway, well done for overcoming your recent loss and keep up the good work, I wish you a very Happy Christmas and successful 2007.

Hi AJ,
No doubt Ross and his colleagues at Betdaq will read both yours and my comments here and take them board. I have always found Betdaq to be very responsive to any comment from their customers. Thanks also for your kind comments and Good Luck for the future.
