It has felt like a Saturday today as the children have been off school for the first day of their half-term break. With another depleted card due to the weather I have only managed to trade in 5 races and 1 football match.
My first race was the 13:40 at Wolverhampton where I started with a lay of Neshla for £33 @ 8.86 and backed back £5 @ 138.00, (the odds changed just as I hit submit otherwise I would have only laid off £0.50), This left me with a profit of £28.
My next race was the 15:10 at Kempton and here I laid Haunted House for £10 @ 5.00 to net a profit of £10. My next was a small and profitable trade in the 13:25 at Nad Al Sheba.
My best race result was in the 14:40 at Kempton. I started with a back of Milan Deux Mille for £52 @ 2.00 before laying off @ 1.90. I then backed him again for £89 @ 2.05 before laying off @ 1.60, this resulted in a profit of £45. My last trade was another small but profitable one. I ended my race day with a profit of £87.
I started to watch the Southend v QPR match tonight but had no involvement until after the first goal had been scored. Then I backed the under 2.5 goals market for £158 @ 2.70. started to lay off @ 2.42 for £25 and had further lays @ 2.35, 2.18, and 1.65 to leave me with no liability. I then started to green up with lays @ 1.40, 1.30 and 1.26 to give me a minimum of £30 on the match. After the second goal had been scored I backed the unders again for £200 @ 2.00 and laid off £180 @ 1.80 and £50 @ 1.78. I had another quick trade @1.72 for £100 and laid off very quickly @ 1.66. This resulted in a profit for me of £50 on the match. I did look at the under 3.5 goals market after the 3rd goal but the odds on offer were too low in, my opinion, so I just sat back and watched the rest of the match.
I have finished another day of Sports Trading with a profit of £137.
Lets hope there is some racing tomorrow but more inspections are due in the morning.
