The Sports Trader took a part of the day off, it was such good weather that I decided to take my three youngest children to Troon. We arrived at about 10:30 and spent the next 3 hours on the beach just playing all sorts of games and playing in the sea. We all had great fun and the only reason that we left when we did was that the sun was starting to burn us all.
I did get back after missing the first race at Yarmouth and tried to trade in the remaining races but without getting matched in any.
I had one eye on the darts and had a trade in the Jenkins v Walch match where I backed Jenkins for £92 @ 1.30 and laid off @ 1.05. In the final leg I backed Jenkins for £2336 @ 1.03 and this resulted in a profit of £93.
I did manage to trade on some of the evening racing and started off with a small winning trade. Then in the 19:30 at Bangor I laid Loch Quest for £15 @ 5.00 before backing back for £4 @ 8.00 to result in a profit of £11.
I managed to suffer a big loss in the 20:30 at Bangor as I laid Drumossie for £70 @ 4.80 when I thought the horse had little chance of winning - how wrong can I get - this resulted in a loss of £266.
In the 21:00 at Bangor I laid Aristi for £141 @ 6.50 and a further £50 @ 25.00 to result in a profit of £191.
My race trading had ended with a loss of £63.
Later I settled down to watching the remaining darts matches and traded heavily on the Jenkins v Part match. I really enjoyed this trading which ended with me having 54 trades and resulted in a profit of £534.
My day had therefore finished with a profit of £564.
