It was a much better day for the Sports Trader today. I traded in 10 horse races and 1 football match with no losing trades.
I started my day with 2 small winning trades. Then in the 15:15 at Nottingham I laid Red flare for £15 @ 12.00 to result in a profit of £15. Next came a further 4 small winning trades.
In the 18:10 at Musselburgh I laid Kyber for £21 @ 6.00 approaching the final furlong to give me a profit of 321. My next trade left me a small profit.
The best race trade of my day was my last trade in the 20:35 at Sandown where I laid Duty Free for £283 @ 2.35 and then backed back £203 @ 2.50. Next I backed Duty Free for £50 @ 2.24 and £15 @ 2.22. In the final furlong I backed a further £240 @ 1.05 which left me with a profit of £85.
My race trading had finished with a profit of £147.
Later in the evening I watched the second half of the Ajax v Atletico Madrid football match. After the second goal had been scored in the 60th minute I backed the under 2.5 goals for £40 @ 2.72 and laid all off at 2.40. Later I backed the unders again for £30 @ 1.55 which I laid off @ 1.44. With 15 minutes of the match to go I greened up with a back for £12 @ 1.26 to leave me with a profit of £13.

There are another two new blogs that have recently started and well worth a read. The first is Life and Sports Punting written by Freddie who is a self confessed punter and who is going to try to make £25k by December 2008, good luck. The second is Talkbet and is written by Jon. He has been a user of betting exchanges for a few years on a part-time basis. Jon writes his own applications to use with in-play football markets.
Russ catches up with RAY ATKINS (aka "The Sports Trader") who unlocks some of the secrets on profitable exchange betting on the Daq.
