I must admit to feeling just a tad jaded today after my son's 21st Birthday party last night. But I sill managed to trade in 12 races with just 1 losing race.
I started the day with my loser in the 13:30 at Kempton where I backed Binnion Bay for £15 @ 1.83 to lose £15. Next I had 4 small but winning trades.
In the 15:00 at Kempton I backed Ansells Pride for £126 @ 1.60 whilst in front and being tackled for the lead to return me a profit of £76. I followed this with another small winning trade.
My next race was the 15:50 at Exeter and I started with a back on Howrwenow for £20 @ 4.00 before laying off £17 @ 3.00 and a further £3 @ 2.50 to leave me with a profit of £21.
The 16:20 at Exeter was my best result of the day as I laid Glasker Mill for £2 @ 50.00 and a further £4 @ 865.00 after coming down at the third fence. I later laid Professor Jack for £100 @ 6.75 when well beaten to result in a profit of £106.
In the 16:50 at Exeter I backed Le Beau Bai for £140 @ 1.38 before laying off £55 @ 1.07 to land a profit of £44. Next I had another small winning trade.
My last race of the day was the 17:10 at Naas, where I backed Bootlegger for £140 @ 1.50 and laid off £103 @ 1.30 to result in a profit of £39.
I had finished my race day with a profit of £300, and with no football trading in the evening due family guests staying with me that was the final result for the day. My week has finished with a profit of £1543.
Another great weks profit ray well done, any idea whats happening with ATR extra its no quicker at all now thats a shame it certainly gave us a bit of an advantage.

Hi Ron,
Thanks for your comments. All the talk is about ATR but the only info I can find out is that on other forums, some are suggesting that ATRxtra will be back on Tuesday, I can only hope this is correct. Good Luck.

Another good week Ray. Well done.We only have 24 hour days down south thats why you can be more productive. You must be on something.
Would have had you odds on to have laid the 4th goal in the Barca game.
What's your thoughts on the Champs league To Qualify markets. I like AC, Arsenal & overs in the Barca game.

Hi Brian,
That's the reason I moved to Scotland for these 36 hour days. I would have been trading the Barca game if it hadn't been for my relations staying so I had a luck escape. I am looking forward to the Champions League games but have not forfmed a view on any matches yet. Good Luck.

Hi Ray
Just a quick message, I will now being moving all my football trading over to Betdaq......hopefully the liquidity will not be too much of an issue.
Betfair have finally burnt their bridges where I am concerned, first I was banned from the forum for nothing other than posting a message for a certain celebrity punter...but they have also banned my wifes account even though she had no part in the posting. But its the way they treat you in their communication and the arrogance of being the market leader that grates me more than anything.
I have long been unhappy with the general arrogant attitude of the people running betfair and this is the final straw.
I would urge anyone to follow Ray and use Betdaq, a company with more customer focus and a reasonable attitude.

Well said Rob
I still cannot understand where all their liquidity comes from. WBX is awful so its down to Betdaq to save us from an awful monopoly situation. When I joined the Daq I was surprised at the liquidity being so good pre-race. Maybe the IR scenario needs soemone doing a freebie software like Gruss
for us Daq punters to get things moving.
maybe if the Purple boys provided some simple trading tools for IR that would be a huge boost. Its the average punters who wont shell out for these fancy pants bits of kit who fill the pot.

Hi Brian
I know, Betfair just have a hardcore base of big traders that provide the market....unfortunatley these are the ones they look after and the rest can rot, as they know we have no real option.
I have wanted to leave for a long time as I have had a couple of incidents where their treatment of me and the nothing is our fault attitude has left me very angry...this however is the final straw, I will make a real effort to not use them at all. (unfortunately my trading is nearly all IR)

Hi Rob,
I am pleased you will be moving your football trading over to the Daq, you will find no problem with liquidity on football.
It is about time that Betfair started to value their customers but I doubt they will.
good Luck, I hope all goes well with you.
Sorry about the late reply I have just be taking my relations back to the airport.

Hi Ray
Its a bit of a struggle tonight, might not be the best game for liquidity though :-(
I would love to be able to trade exclusively on the Daq, but unfortunately I have strategies that enable me to make a very good income, but really need a liquid market, at this time this maybe only poss on the very biggest games.......
Hopefully some market makers/big hitters, will see this blog and think lets use the Daq, a company that cares and looks out for its users....Betdaq hopefully can be to punters what Betfair was until it got greedy and arrogant.

Hi Ray! £300 sounds great, Keep on with the good work!

Hi Rob,
Which market to do you trade?
I have had a little dabble on the under 2.5 goals tonight, liquidity not too bad.
It would only take one or two big traders to make the liquidity similar to Betfair. Betdaq are certainly a lot more customer friendly. Good Luck.

Hi Ray
It depends on the game, but I usually trade on the next goal (various markets).....now this can be backing or laying first (when I estimate the price is wrong) and then backing or laying back when the price has corrected....even though there was some money on betdaq the gaps between the 2 sides was massive and there was very little flow to the market, infact on the HT there was a point where the prices disappeared to leave a blank screen.
I will try and use it as much as poss, but don't feel I can 100% unfortunately

Hi Rob,
It is always the under/over 2.5 goals that I start with and liquidity is always good, then towards the end of the match I start to look at othewr markets.
Best of Luck.
