The Sports Trader has had a much quieter day today and got off to the worse possible start in the 14:00 at Towcester where I backed Lusaka De Pembo just after the last obstacle, whilst leading, for £155 @ 2.29 and did try to lay off but ended up with a loss of £155.
In the 14:10 at Wincanton I laid Parkinson for £24 @ 3.80 and also laid Zanzibar Boy for £4 @ 7.00 to land a profit of £28. My next race was the 14:20 at Southwell and here I laid Credential for £25 @ 20.00 at about 4 furlongs out, when coming under pressure to stay with the leaders, to give me a profit of £25.
Next up was the 14:30 at Towcester where I laid Star Double for £37 @ 4.20 when looking well beaten to give me a profit of £37. I then had a small, profitable trade. My next race was the 15:15 at Thurles where I backed the winner, Ebaziyan for £100 @ 1.20 to land a profit of £20. Next was another small profitable trade.
My best result came in the aptly named Betdaq 0% In Running Novices Hurdle at Wincanton where I started with a lay of Nougat de L'Isle for £31 @ 4.40 before backing back @ 4.60. Then I laid Portland Bill for £50 @ 3.00 before backing back @ 3.50. Finally I backed Marcus for £180 @ 2.20 and laid back £170 @ 1.80 to give me a profit on the race of £91.
The next race I traded was the 15:45 @ Thurles and here I backed The Colt King for £90 @ 1.83 before laying back @ 1.50 which resulted in a profit of £30. I had one final trade that was profitable but small. This finished my race trading day with a profit of £88.
In the evening I had some small trades on the first leg of the Premier League Darts Tournament. In the first match between Raymond Van Barneveld and A Lewis. I started with a back on Barney of £210 @ 1.16 before laying back @ 1.11 and then backed him again for 35 @ 1.40 to leave a profit of £24.
In the Jenkins v Priestley match I had a small trade to net me a profit of £4. Then in the Colin Lloyd v Peter Manley match I thought One Darts odds of 4.9 before the match where too high so I backed him for £25 @ 4.90. Manley won the first set and I laid off £25 @ 3.70 then a further £10 @ 2.50 to green up and leave myself a profit of £15.
In the final match of this leg I between Phil 'the Power' Taylor and Roland Scholten I only traded in a very small way before the start of the match and I ended with a break-even situation on both the draw and Roland and a small positive on Phil, so I ended with no profit or loss. My day has therefore finished with a profit of £130.

Hi Ray
What experience have you got of Elite? I must admit I very rarely feel like joining these things, but this one is tempting....as someone who trades solely on football, if 'really' successful this could be rather useful........I just don't believe that any of these things are actually any good ;-)

Hi Rob,
As you know I do not use tipsters simply because everything I do is in-running. However I have looked at this service and because they take an unbiased view at all systems and tipsters available, I think they are worth a look. Remember that your first contact with them will give you a free sample copy of their monthly report, after that if you do go with them you have a full money back guarantee so it is worth taking a look and then decideing wether or not it is worth continuing with. Good Luck whatever your decision.
