As expected the weather has taken it's toll again today and Huntingdon has been lost to the frost tomorrow. So trading has been very limited and I ended up just trading in 4 races.
I started with the 13:20 at Lingfield and backed Diamonds And Dust on the run in for £130 @ 1.04 and a further £200 @ 1.01 to net a profit of £7. My next trade was an even smaller, profitable one.
My best result by far was in the 15:30 at Lingfield where I backed Super Frank for £292 @ 2.94 whilst he was in the lead and half way down the finishing straight. I laid off @ 1.50 when it looked like he may not hold on to the line. He did hold on and I ended up with a profit of £421.
My last race was in the 16:35 at Lingfield and here I backed Aajel for £82 @ 1.11 to land a profit of £9. So I finished my race trading with a profit of £440.
I had a relaxing evening watching the friendly International football match between England and Spain. I had no involvement until the goal had been scored. I then backed the under 1.5 goals for £14 @ 3.00 and laid off minutes later @ 2.25. I waited until the 83rd minute and backed the under 1.5 goals again for £53 @ 1.44, before laying this off @ 1.13 to leave me with a profit on the match of £27.
My final result was therefore a profit of £467.
Well done ray a great profit on the day.
