The Sports Trader has had a good day and traded in 6 horse races and 1 football match, with no losing trades.
My first race trade didn't happen until the 16:20 at Killarney where I laid Looks Could Kill for £18 @ 14.50 to result in a profit of £18. next was the 17:20 also at Killarney, and here I backed Manorville for £12 @ 1.89 and laid Coppervega for £4 @ 25.00 to result in a profit of £15.
In the 17:50 at Killarney I laid Johnny Gonzalez for £7 @ 6.00 and later for another £3 @ 15.00 to result in a profit of £10. Next I had 2 small but profitable trades.
My final race trade was in the 20:05 at Huntingdon where I backed Grouse Moor for £300 @ 2.53 before laying off £230 @ 2.30, £15 @ 2.50 and £85 @ 2.00 to leave me with a profit of £93.
My race trading had finished with a profit of £146.
Because of my race trading I had missed all the first half and the beginning of the second half of the Derby v Southampton play-off match. I watched the match and was looking for what I considered to be value prices on offer and eventually backed the draw for £100 @ 1.58 which I laid off shortly after @ 1.53. I then backed the draw again for £25 @ 1.41 and laid this off @ 1.34. In the final minutes of injury time I backed the draw again for £100 @ 1.10 and laid this off @ 1.03. At the end of normal time I had made just £7.
During extra time I also traded the match result and backed the draw for £150 @ 2.50 which I laid off @ 2.15. I then backed the draw again for £360 @ 1.74 and laid off £100 @ 1.60 and £150 @ 1.62. I then greened up with a series of lays @ 1.63, 1.50, 1.48 and 1.13 to leave me with a profit on this market of £100.
I also had a small trade on the under 1.5 goals market in extra time where I backed the unders for £17 @ 1.70 and laid off @ 1.34 to leave me with a profit of £6. Finally, during the penalty shoot out I backed Derby for £28 @ 2.00 and laid off £9 @ 1.50 and £18 @ 1.35 to leave me another £17 profit. So this match had left me with a total profit of £130.
My day had therefore finished with a profit of £276.
