The Sports Trader has had a much better day today but didn't trade until the evening. I had a few visitors through the afternoon which meant that I could not give enough concentration to my trading, so I just took a few hours off. I finished up trading in just 7 races and 1 football match.
It was good to hear John, aka The Gambler, give his views about the US Open Golf Tournament, on the Betdaq Exchange Views Daqcast today. Good luck with your selections John and don't give all your potential profits away on Sunday evening!
The first trade of my day was my only loser of the day. It was in the 17:05 at Yarmouth where I backed Silver Mitzva for £25 @ 2.10 when leading and with about 2 furlongs to go, but she got reeled in by two other runners in the final furlong to cost me £25.
In the 18:45 at Uttoxeter I had the best result of my day when I laid Primitive Academy for £110 @ 4.60 before backing back £11 @ 5.10 and then backing the eventual winner Cottingham for £99 @ 1.10 and a further £300 @ 1.03 to result in a profit of £117. My next trade was a small, but profitable one.
Next was the 20:05 at Fontwell where I laid Another Gale for £35 @ 23.00 when well out of contention to give me a £35 profit.
In the 20:15 at Uttoxeter I laid Storm Talk for £20 @ 4.00 before backing back £15 @ 5.20 and later on I backed the winner Go Classic for £100 @ 1.10 to result in a profit of £15.
My next series of trades was in the 20:35 at Fontwell where I started with a lay of Lowlander for £327 @ 2.92 and then made a total of 12 backs ranging from 3.00 to 4.00 for £291 to leave me with an all green screen and a profit of £35.
My last race trade of the day was in the 21:15 at Uttoxeter where I laid Not A Doctor for £84 @ 12.00 and backed back £24 @ 19.00 and £1 at 920.00 to leave me with another all green screen and a profit of £62.
My race trading had finished with a total profit of £248.
After racing I watched the final few minutes of the England v Italy Under 21 football match and I backed the draw for £51 @ 1.13 whilst in injury time and laid back £52 @ 1.05 to give me a profit of £4.
So I had ended the day with a profit of £252.
Cheers Ray. Good Luck. :-).

Ray,
I am doing good thanks. Still not enough time in the day to trade regularly but hopefully that will change soon as my auto trading software is doing quite nicely so far.
Hope you don't mind but I have put a link to your blog on my new racing site which launches next week.
