The Sports Trader feels back on track with a slow but solid day of trading with 10 horse races and 2 darts matches traded and no losses on the day.
I started my day with 2 small winning trades. In the 15:15 at Ayr I backed Neil's Legacy for £17 @ 3.00 and then laid off £17 @ 1.25 to result in a profit of £29. I followed this with another small winning trade.
In the 17:00 @ Yarmouth I laid Polish Welcome for £15 @ 9.00 for a profit of £15. Next came another 3 small winning trades.
My last race trade of the day proved to be my best when, in the 20:50 at Windsor, I laid Moves Goodenough for £109 @ 10.00 before backing back £47 @ 15.35 and £5 @ 20.00 to result in a profit of £57.
My race trading had finished with a profit of £114.
In the Priestley v Osborne darts match I backed Priestley for £590 @1.28 and laid off within 30 seconds at 1.17 to leave myself a profit of £66.
Later in the evening I traded the Taylor v Newton darts match. I started with a back of The Power for £500 @ 1.25 and laid off @ 1.21. I then back him again for £250 @ 1.30 and laid this off @ 1.25. I had a few other small trades on the match and finished with a profit of £40.
My day had finished with a profit of £220.
