The Sports Trader didn't have the greatest of weeks trading wise. I think it was more to do with having a few days off and then trying to make up for the lack of trading that made me take bigger risks than I would normally take.
Friday 20th resulted in a loss of £815 after losing out in a photo finish to the tune of £500. This was one of my worst days for a while with only 5 winning trades and 5 losing trades.
Saturday 21st also resulted in a loss of £359. This was due mainly to a large loss of £425 in the 4:15 at Market Rasen where I had backed Osprey View for £425 @ 1.30 only to him beaten by Golden Alchemist in the final furlong.
Sunday 22nd ended my 3 day losing run when I turned in a profit of £324 on the day. I was again having a very bad day due to a £655 loss in the 15:35 at Fairyhouse but I turned my result around with the darts in the evening where I made a profit of £833 on the Painter v Gray match and a further £70 on the Scholten v Mason match.
After a very poor week I ended with a loss of £1018. I will be looking to recover this and more next week. I am sorry for the lack of postings recently but there has been quite a lot of turmoil in my life and I have had to spend a lot of time sorting out some personal problems, I hope to get back to normal over the next few days both with results and postings.
Keep the Chin up Ray.
Just keep your head and stick to your self imposed rules.
I am sure the "Green" trading and everything else will be back online ASAP.
Hows the new broadband working out?
Regards from a sunny Dublin (for a change)

Hi DG,
Thanks for your meassage. I will try to stick to my rules and get back into positive territory.
My new broadband is working well. As you know I have got the Be.com 24 meg connection but I can only connect at an average speed of 7 meg as I live 2.4 km away from my nearest exchange. This is still quicker than 97% of broadband connections in the UK so it is about as good as I can get.
Please to hear you have the sun as well.
Best Regards
Ray
