This new week has not started off too well for the Sports Trader. My first trade of the week, which was conducted late on Sunday night and early Monday morning, resulted in a loss which I managed to partially claw back through the day. I traded on 7 horse races and 2 football matches with 1 loss.
So that first trade was in the Portugal v Gambia U20 football match where I took a view and got it totally wrong. The score was 1 - 0 to Portugal and I decided that Portugal would win so I backed them for £250 @ 1.44. After watching the way the game was developing I decided to cover my position a little with a back of the draw at 2.78 for £88. Then Gambia go and score not once but twice. I did back Gambia for £271 @ 1.50 and a further £72 @ 1.18 to limit my loss to £190.
My horse race trading got under way with a small profit in the 14: 30 at Musselburgh. In the 15:30, also at Musselburgh, I backed Fol Hollow for £320 @ 1.30. to result in a profit of £96.
My next 2 trades both resulted in small profits. Then in the 20:25 at Ripon I laid Heywood for £22 @ 11.50 to result in a profit of £22. My next trade ended with a small profit.
The final trade of my day was in the Bohemians v Bray football match where I backed the under 2.5 goals for £228 @ 1.51 which I laid off @ 1.42 and then a little later I backed the unders again for £22 @ 1.15 to result in a profit of £22.
My day had therefore finished with a loss of £37.
I have been aware for the last 4 weeks of a problem with my blog showing up properly. I thought it was a problem at my end but have had several people email me about it and it appears that there is a problem with the host of my blog. I would appreciate a comment being left on this article if you have had problems reading this blog, thanks.
Takes ages to load. Sometimes not at all. I thought it might have something to do with too many images, etc...

seems to be okay now, but for a couple of weeks it would take upto a minute for the text down the middle to appear.
are you aware of any good books relating to trading ray? whether it be stocks or betting exchanges.

Often just get a blank box where the text should be. The banners always load up okay.
It is a pain as I enjoy reading your blog!

I'm not sure which browser the others are using, though it's fair to guess that most will be using a version of Microsoft's Internet Explorer. I am using MS IE 6 and the main text of the blog regularly fails to load (it may well eventually appear but I don't wait around beyond a more than reasonable time). I have turned to my Firefox browser a couple of times and it has displayed the blog successfully on both occasions. Either way, it's clear there is some sort of problem.

Thanks for all the comments. I have had a couple of replies back from Typepad saying that they have no problem viewing the site. Obviously everybody else is having a problem. I have taken some of the widgets off the site and it appears to be working better now.
