Well the party in Aberdeen was brilliant. We stayed over night at Graeme's house and after a very late breakfast I set off home but had to make a detour to another part of Aberdeen as Josephine, my second eldest daughter had rang me and asked me to take a look at her water tank as the overflow had been running all night long. We duly stopped by and fixed the problem and then set off at about mid-day to come home.
I traded on 8 horse races and 1 football match when I got home and had no losing trades on the day. I had missed the start of the day's racing but got started with the 15:15 at Newbury where I managed a small profit.
My next trade was in the 15:25 at Market Rasen where I backed Ruby Dante for £100 @1.10 to result in a profit of £10.
In the 15:45 at Cork I backed Dedo for £50 @ 1.80 for a profit of £40. Next was the 16:10 at Chester where I backed Green Manalishi for £42 @ 1.98 to result in a profit of £41. My next 2 trades both ended with small profits.
In the 17:05 at Market Rasen laid Wee William for £11 @ 25.00 for a profit of £11. My final race trade of the day in the 17:15 at Cork resulted in a small profit.
My race trading had finished with a profit of £120.
After racing I traded the Feyenoord v Liverpool football match. I had missed most of the first half of the match and started backing the under 2.5 goals market, with the score at 1 - 0, for £325 @ 1.67. I then started to lay off my liability with backs for £128 @ 1.59, £96 @ 1.56 and £100 @ 1.52. I then backed the unders for £162 @ 1.50 and laid this off with backs for £62 @ 1.42, £50 @ 1.32 and £50 @ 1.30. I had just backed the unders again for £238 @ 1.37 when the second goal came. I backed the unders for a further £173 @ 1.66 and laid this off @ 1.60. Finally I greened up my position with a back for £50 @ 1.47 to leave me with a profit of £51. With seconds left on the clock I also backed the draw for £50 @ 1.10 to give myself another £5 profit.
My day had therefore finished with a profit of £176.
That is another week over and I managed to turn a profit of £964.
