The Sports Trader had another very quiet day on the trading front as I had other things to do for much of the afternoon. I only traded on 1 horse race, 1 football match and 1 cricket match.
My horse race trade was in the 14:15 at Chepstow where I backed Down The Brick for £100 @ 1.30 to result in a profit of £30.
In the evening I managed to catch the last 20 minutes of the 2nd leg European Qualifying football match between FK Zeta and Rangers. The score was 0 - 1 by the time I got to the match and I just made a few backs of the under 2.5 goals @ 1.24 for £57, 1.17 for £23 and 1.05 for £8. I did put up lays to cover my liability but cancelled them when it became apparent that another two would not be scored. So I ended the match with a profit of £18.
Later in the evening I watched the Derbyshire v Leicestershire cricket match, and what a match it was. I had started by backing Leicestershire for £444 @ 1.90 when it looked like they were in control of the match. Soon after a few quick wickets and it looked like a disaster for me. I held on and eventually traded out with a very small profit after Leicestershire went on to win off the second last ball of their innings.
My day had finished with a profit of £48.
Russ catches up with RAY ATKINS (aka "The Sports Trader") who unlocks some of the secrets on profitable exchange betting on the Daq.
Hi Ray,
Great stuff on this blog as usual.
For what it's worth, I really enjoyed your little interview with Russ about trading on the under 2.5 marketr.
Is there some kind of email address that I can reach you at?
I've got a little proposal that I think you'd be really interested in, but I can't find a way to get hold of you. :)
Take care now Ray,
- Josh.

Hi Ray,
I did try clicking that link (before I made the original comment), but I can't get it to open. I have problems with Microsoft Outlook and that could be the problem...
If you want to avoid psoting your email on here for spam purposes, you could contact me at clotmyster[at]hotmail[dot]com and I'll then respond to that. :-/
Keep up the good work.
Take care now Ray,
- Josh.
