Angelo

hej Ray, Congratulations on getting back to winnings, i have a question for you, most of your trades are in running on the horse racing, do you see the race on tv? how do you decide your selection (if its not a secret :) ).wish you good luck and keep up the winning run.

Ray

Hi Angelo,
I would never trade an event without live TV pictures, so yes I do watch the races normally on ATR and RUK and if possible on Terrestrial TV i.e. BBC1, BBC2 or CH4. have two 19" computer monitors, one either side of my LCD TV so everything I need to see is all very close together. It is difficult to tell you how I decide on my selections as sometimes I lay first and others I bet first. If there is a short priced favourite that appears to be going well I would probably bet first then lay off. But I honestly have no hard and fast rules, I just go by my judgement and instinct about how a horse is running.

This is an excellent blog - the best sports one I have seen. This is mainly because you give details of your bets/trades - I know after the event but thats fine. Most blogs just say they won on the cricket or tennis etc. It is much more interesting to see how you won or lost your money. I have no interest in other peoples tips but like to see how you go about your daily trades. Good luck and I will keep looking in.
