The Sports Trader apologises for the late update which was due to a very hectic day helping out my family. As you all know the best days that I have are when all 6 of my children are together with me and this is what happened today. My daughter, Josie and her boyfriend had come to stay with me as they were flying out of Glasgow airport to South Africa early on Thursday morning. As Josie lives in Aberdeen my other two older children came to stay with us also. The flight leaves at 5:55am, which meant we had to leave at 3:45am, so I went to bed early before getting a chance to update my blog.
As it happens there is very little to report on the days trading as I only managed to trade in 5 horse races.
My first trade was in the 15:55 at Ascot where I laid The Last Drop for £19 @ 3.80 to result in a profit of £19. I followed this up with a small winning trade.
My next trade was my only losing trade on the day and was in the 16:40 at Pontefract where I had backed My Secrets for £47 @ 1.80, only to see him touched off on the run in, to cost me £47. I followed this with a small winning trade.
In the 19:05 at Cheltenham I laid Caught At Dawn for £20 @ 6.00 to result in a profit of £20.
That was the end of the day's trading for me and it ended in a loss of £7.
